Adaptation Futures 2018 comes to Cape Town

The annual International Climate Change Adaptation Conference lands in Cape Town this June – and it’s pushing for progress.

Marking the 5th International Climate Change Adaptation Conference, Adaptation Futures 2018 will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, in June. 
 
Adaptation Futures 2018 provides an opportunity for dialogue and engagement with more than 1,000 participants from academia, government, civil society and business, all aiming to take climate adaptation forward. 
 
Held from the 18th-21st June 2018, the conference will target the movement from problem diagnosis towards successful implementation, through progress discussion and focused dialogues for solutions.
 
Adaptation Futures 2018 has six key conference themes that will help guide learning within the adaptation community: Adaptation and development; South-South and South-North knowledge and learning; Adaptation and 21st Century challenges; Collaboration, knowledge, co-production and research into use; Financing of adaptation and climate resilient development; and Learning from doing.

Application for attendance grants is open from16th– 28th Feb 2018. 
Early Bird registration is open from 17th January – 31st March 2018
Standard registration is open from 1st April 2018 – 31st May 2018
