Environment Inspired Artwork Exhibition

‘Walk This Earth Alone’ is a group exhibition of artworks inspired and focused on each artist's individual reference or perception of the environment's conservation or destruction.

The environmental art exhibition will be hosted by The Grande Provence estate in Franschhoek. The emphasis of this art exhibit is on each artist's individual perception on our natural world that inspires visual communication that creates environmental awareness. This exhibit allows artists to express their views on the environment, that leads to action in the conservation of our environment. The inspiration behind the exhibition is the significant singular role that human beings play in the conservation of our natural environment, and this results in the understanding that we walk this earth alone.

This exhibit is a great weekend activity to raise your awareness for the conservation and destruction of our environment. Spend some time viewing and reflecting on the artwork, then stop by the restaurant at Grande Provence for a meal in between. Philip will be attending the exhibit and reporting back.

The exhibition opened on Sunday, 12 August 2012 @ 11h00 and will be on view until 26 September 2012, at the Gallery @ Grande Provence, Grande Provence Estate, Main Road, Franschhoek 7690, Western Cape, South Africa. www.grandeprovence.co.za
