Once you arrive in Simon's Town you are a few kilometers walk to Boulder's Beach where there is a thriving colony of African Penguins. If you are not up for the walk you can also take a local taxi to Boulder's Beach. The penguins are best viewed from Foxy Beach where boardwalks take visitors within a few metres of the birds.
