International Public Art Festival- IPAF 2019 - in Salt River

IPAF 2019 will feature artists from Spain, France, Mexico and the United States alongside wave making local artists from South Africa.

International Public Art Festival (IPAF 2019) organisers, BAZ-ART, are pleased to announce the line-up of street artists who will participate in this year’s festival in Salt River between the 9th and the 17th February.

Cape Town is proud to host Banyana Banyana and the women’s soccer teams from the Netherlands and Sweden at the Cape Town Stadium for their FIFA World Cup preparation matches.

‘The City would like to extend a warm welcome to all three teams as they do battle on the field in preparation for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup that will take place in France during June – July this year.

Cape Town keeps average consumption for December under 600 million litres

City of Cape Town is encouraged by water usage over the past month and the continued wise use of water during the drought recovery period. 

Although dam levels have been declining somewhat as expected, due to the hot and windy weather of summer, water consumption over the past month has remained on the conservative side, which is helping Cape Town through the drought recovery period by reducing the impact on the dams.
