AGM for Obs Improvement District

Attend the AGM to hear, first hand, about the achievements of the OBSID in their first full year and what is planned for the next phase. It is also an opportunity for members and ratepayers to receive copies of the financial statements.

The programme will open with a warm greeting from one of the current Board of Directors. It will then head straight into the minutes of the AGM in 2009, after which Brian Amery (Secretary and COO) will provide a report back on the 2009 - 2010 financial year. The meeting will further see the adoption of the annual financial statements from 2009 - 2010, and directors (those newly appointed and those who served the entire year) will be introduced. Chairperson, Justin Ashley, will present the 2010 – 2011 planning, after which the meeting will be asked to approve some changes to the memorandum and articles of association, which have been called for by SARS. In conclusion there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.

Many of the local food and coffee shops have been asked to provide refreshments, so there will be an opportunity to socialise after the meeting.
