11 September - Seed Saving
Understanding pollination and cross-pollination. Open pollinated vs hybrid seeds. Basic seed saving, drying and storing techniques.

THE FACILITATORS
Alex Kruger has been involved with Permaculture since 1993 when she trained at Fambidzanai in Zimbabwe. Her skills range encompasses from grassroots to full blown design courses, as well as materials and curriculum development. She has experience in coastal temperate, inland arid areas and Mediterranean ecologies.
Mzukisi Zele has worked with SEED since 2003. He is a skilled organic gardener, Permaculture implementer and nursery operator. He will be co-facilitating the Saturday Session.
