Stepping up to Environmental Leadership Programme
Are you are aged between 18 and 25, passionate about protecting our environment, live in Cape Town, and keen to become a leader in the area of sustainability?
WESSA is seeking prospective young leaders to embark on an exciting one year, all-expenses-paid practical training programme. If selected they will be guided and mentored in adapting sustainable technologies for demonstration and uptake in a community of their choice, and will also become familiar with the basics of sustainability technologies related to energy, water, soil and waste.
Successful applicants will need to be available to attend the first 3-day contact session from 13 to 15 August at WESSA in Kirstenhof, Cape Town as well as subsequent programme activities over the following 12 months. All costs related to the program will be covered by WESSA.
