Driftsands Nature Reserve is a provincial nature reserve run by CapeNature Conservation. The reserve conducts environmental education activities and is strategically located in an area where it can provide access to nature for impoverished communities. Driftsands also protects remnants of the endangered vegetation type Cape Flats Dune Strandveld.
