Help the Rural Child is a programme that supports Goedgedacht Farm in Riebeeck Kasteel. It is a chain of charity shops that support the Goedgedacht Path Onto Prosperity Rural Youth Centres.
Through its charity shops, Help the Rural Child is doing its bit to help underprivileged rural children break out of the endless cycles of poverty that have trapped their parents for so many generations.
Goedgedacht is a beautiful old Cape Dutch farm situated on the slopes of the Kasteelberg, which has become a busy community development centre focused on addressing poverty amongst rural children and youth, and climate change.
