1. About Us
The Cape Town Green Map aims to list all relevant “green” resources in the Cape Town municipal area and area’s beyond Cape Town that are within easy reach of travelers (roughly within two hours drive from Cape Town). Examples of green resources are nature reserves, recycling drop off points, environmental organizations, farmers and organic markets, organic eateries, sustainable living projects etc. For more details of sites we’d like to list, view the icon / criteria page. The emphasis is on sites that would be useful for residents or tourists to visit to increase their understanding of environmental issues, connect with nature or to aid them to live more ecologically sustainable lifestyles.
The Cape Town Green Map is a Green Goal Project (the environmental programme for greening the 2010 FIFA World Cup™) and is a partnership between the City of Cape Town’s Environmental Resource Management Department and A & C Maps.
