Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is a gorgeous indigenous garden set against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’s Table Mountain. The garden grows only indigenous South African plants, and the estate supports a diverse range of fynbos flora and natural forest. A beautiful spot for a walking tour or picnic.

Opening Hours:

  • Summer (September – March): 08:00 – 19:00
  • Winter (April – August): 08:00 – 18:00
  • Conservatory: Open every day 09:00 – 17:00

Entry Fees:

  • Adults: R75
  • South African Students (with student card): R40
  • Scholars/Learners (6 – 17 years): R20
  • Children under 6 years: Free
  • Botanical Society members (with membership card): Free
  • South African Senior Citizens (with ID): Free on Tuesdays except on public holidays
