These double-decker hop on, hop off topless buses provide official city tours around Cape Town. Explore Cape Point, the wine country and more via tour bus. City Sightseeing is environmentally and community conscious, and have been awarded for the efforts made to reduce their carbon footprint.
Following an independent carbon audit conducted by Global Carbon Exchange (GCX), City Sightseeing purchased carbon credits from Cape Town-based compost company Reliance to offset their remaining carbon emissions. The company has been officially declared carbon neutral.

- City Sightseeing uses recyclable material, is fuel-efficient and recycles their waste.
- The company has adopted the latest available methods and technology to reduce noise pollution, energy use and water consumption.
- They invest in entrepreneurial development by reselling products and souvenirs at their kiosks, such as the wire-beaded buses made by local craftsmen.
- All vehicles used on the hop-on, hop-off circuit comply with Euro 4 emission standards for emissions and environmental impact.
- Noise is managed by the introduction of a multi-lingual system via earphones.
- Goods are purchased in bulk, where possible, to reduce the amount of packaging and subsequent waste.
