Colona supports Uthando SA, a non-profit organisation supporting a range of sustainable projects in South Africa’s poorest and most marginalised communities. The hotel recycles water, glass, cardboard, plastics, paper, garden refuse etc. and uses eco-friendly products.
Colona is very conscious about saving resources and guests are encouraged to use less water and electricity. Fair Trade practices with staff and suppliers are in place.
