Schalkenbosch Wine Estate is situated on the outskirts of Tulbagh. The estate is a working farm which produces, grain, apricots, plums and grapes. The property includes a 1000 hectare Conservation Estate, which has been placed under the stewardship of Cape Nature in perpetuity and is an integral part of the estate’s Biodiversity in Wine Initiative.
The Schalkenbosch label represents classic wines of exceptional quality.
The Estate also includes three fully equipped self-catering cottages. The Cape Dutch farm house dates back to 1792 and has been proclaimed a National Monument.
