The Josephine Mill initially operated during the mid-1800s, and has been completely restored to full operation by the Cape Town Historical Society. The Mill endeavours to foster respect for tradition, community, and the environment with its holistic approach to natural living.
The Josephine Mill Museum houses displays of recovered local artifacts, and an exhibition of the stone milling process. The Mill Shop sells wholesome natural and organic products, including stoneground flour freshly milled on site. The award-winning Caveau Wine Bar and Deli is set in the tranquil Mill gardens.
The Josephine Mill is available to hire for conferences, weddings, birthdays, exhibitions, workshops, product launches and more.
