My Cape Town Market Green Point is back for more fun this Sunday.
Following a successful event this past weekend, My Cape Town Market Green Point returns to the Old Bowling Green on Sunday, 7 May, with more of Cape Town’s most scrumptious foods, trendy designs and fashion, artisanal goodies and brilliant beverages.
This past Sunday, Capetonians and city visitors took advantage of the sunny weather to enjoy hours of shopping and entertainment from buskers, emerging artists and a children's play zone at My Cape Town Market Green Point.
The City's Mayoral Member for Economic Growth, Alderman James Vos said this first event was a massive success.
'The first My Cape Town Market Green Point brought together a wonderful mix of traders, selling everything from baked goods to flowers, homeware and clothing. And the live entertainment and kids’ play area gave it even more of a buzz. It’s exactly what I envisioned when I came up with the concept for this type of market, which we do to give entrepreneurs a perfect place to trade and to connect them with a new market of consumers,' said Alderman Vos.
